Dave is the senior director for live music and touring at Billboard, where he oversees the publication’s business coverage of the concert, festival and live-music industry. He joined Billboard in 2017 following Billboard's acquisition of Amplify, which he founded with his wife, Kristen, in 2014. Dave is the former managing editor of Venues Today magazine and previously worked as a staff writer at the Los Angeles Times. He’s a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz.
